Premier Nutrition has invested £13.1million in a new production facility at Fradley Park in Staffordshire taking it to the forefront of premix manufacture. In the company’s most automated factory to date, Premier Nutrition is bringing the integrity and rigour of the consumer food industry to the animal feed industry.
During the lunch there will be tour to the state-of-the-art facility and how Premier Nutrition recognises traceability, sustainability and risk management as paramount in this critical element of animal feed production.
Also there will be Highlight on food/feed link by independent risk assessment consultant, John Bassett who will shares the latest thinking on food industry risk management and applies it to animal feed. He’ll outline future tools for risk management and explain why there’s a need to focus on risk-based assurance of supplier and ingredient safety, rather than relying on audits and certificates.
